Every girl dreams of being a princess. The gorgeous hair, the castle, and of course the dazzling dress. Nicole Snobelen’s newest project is helping these girl’s dreams come true. The Abby Girl Fund, named after her grandfather, is an initiative started in 2015 to help lift the spirits of girls suffering from illness. Nicole volunteers her time to visit girls in the hospital and works with them to design and colour their dream dress. Like a fairy godmother, Nicole then secretly gathers the matching fabric and makes the dresses come to life. A few days later, Nicole surprises the girls with their very own custom dress. Prince Charming not included.

Nicole is currently looking for sponsors. “Seeing your posts of the little girls wearing your dresses with a huge smile is all worth it,” says one of her most recent sponsors. Nicole is hosting a fundraising fashion show in Blenheim on May 2nd, 2015.
